Crews are cleaning up a fuel spill at South Tamiami Trail and Highland Woods Boulevard in Bonita Springs.
According to the Bonita Springs Fire Control and Rescue District, 50 gallons of diesel fuel spilled after an aluminum tank fell off a flatbed. The truck was the only vehicle involved.
Fire crews on the scene said the tank is 100 gallons in total.
Officials said no one was injured in the incident.
Two northbound lanes on U.S.-41 have been closed, however, one remains open. Fire crews are cleaning up the spill with absorbent.
Bonita Springs Fire said there is no intrusion to waterways or drains.
