The Bonita Springs Fire Department responded to a house fire along Thornbury Lane around 11 p.m. on Tuesday.
The fire broke out on Thornbury Ln, west of US-41 and north of Bonita Beach Road.
NBC2 crews on the scene saw Bonita Fire, the Lee County Sheriff's office and EMS crews at the scene.
Bonita Fire says through the roof and the back half of the house already collapsed upon arrival.
The house was undergoing remodeling and no one was currently living there, according to reports.
