An 18-year-old woman was arrested after leading Florida troopers on a chase in Cape Coral Wednesday evening.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a Dodger Charger sped away from troopers at speeds of more than 100 miles per hour around 8:53 p.m.
Troopers say the driver, Aleigha Rae Dekeyser, turned off her headlights, and at times was driving the wrong way on a public road.
Troopers were able to perform a successful pit maneuver.
According to reports, the woman was arrested for felony drug possession, fleeing and eluding and driving with a suspended license.
Dekeyser was taken to the Lee County Jail.
