College basketball season is quickly approaching and both FGCU teams have released their schedules for the 2024-25 season.
FGCU's men's basketball team will start their season at UNC Greensboro on November 4 while the women begin their season at Davidson on Nov. 17.
Fans will want to mark these dates on their calendars as the men will host the St. Bonaventure Bonnies on Nov. 13 and the women's team will host the New Jersey Institute of Technology Highlanders on Nov. 17.
Both teams will host a mid-season tournament; however, FGCU's women's basketball team will host two tournaments.
FGCU's women's basketball team will host the Homewood Suites Classic from Nov. 29-30 and the FGCU Classic from Dec. 20-21. They will also travel to Canada for the Atlantic Slam Tournament from Nov. 22-24.
The men will host the FGCU MTE tournament from Nov. 22-24.
ASUN conference play begins on Jan. 2 for both teams. The men will get to play at the newest school in the ASUN, the West Georgia Wolves. The women will play against the Queens University Royals at Alico Arena.
FGCU's men's basketball team will look to compete in the ASUN Tournament that is scheduled for March 2-9.
The ASUN Tournament for women's basketball runs from March 7-15. FGCU's women's basketball team will look to claim its eighth straight ASUN Tournament championship.
