An arrest was made in connection with a deadly two-motorcycle crash along I-75 that happened in June.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers arrested now 19-year-old Alexander Isbel Cruz, on a felony warrant for vehicular homicide that happened June 18, 2024.
Troopers say Cruz was speeding between 96 to 106 mph days before his birthday before crashing into another motorcycle, killing a 21-year-old Cape Coral man.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
FHP says Cruz was taken to an area hospital and later released. After a criminal investigation, Cruz was arrested by FHP.
