After a rare loss last week, Bishop Verot was looking to bounce back this Friday against its Class 2A foe Calvary Christian. Before the game started, the Vikings honored their 1994 state runner-up team. With those school legends watching on, this year's group put on a clinic.
The Vikings offense took a little bit to warm up, but their defense stood strong until both ends got going. Once they did, Richie Rode's squad never looked back. With Michigan-commit Carter Smith leading the way, Bishop Verot put up 43 points in a 43-13 win to improve to 3-1 on the year.
