A water main break has caused a precautionary boil water notice for some residents of Punta Gorda.
According to the City of Punta Gorda, Riverside Drive between Dutch Avenue and Misty Avenue and Dutch Avenue and Bloxham Avenue are under the boil water notice.
Officials said residents were given hand notices and signs have been posted in the affected areas.
