Pro Parks is preparing to construct a $3 million wave pool at Sunsplash Waterpark for you to enjoy.
But first, they want to be in charge of the park for longer before they commit. On Wednesday, city leaders want you to weigh in.
Pro parks is planning to invest an additional $2 million at Sunsplash but they are hesitant on moving forward with it because of their lease agreement with the City of Cape Coral.
The agreement is ten years.
Pro Parks is asking city leaders to extend their lease from ten years to twenty years. They are even proposing to pay the city more for rent to extend the agreement.
The Cape Coral City Council meeting is scheduled for Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.
