Charlotte County deputies are investigating a shooting that sent two people to the hospital in Charlotte County near the North Port, Sarasota County line Wednesday morning.
According to CCSO, the scene is on US-41 near Cornelius Boulevard and S Salford Blvd. The roads were shut down for hours, but have since reopened.
At least one of the victims was transported to the hospital on MedFlight.
