Two men have been arrested after being accused of, or assisting in, sexual acts with a child between 12 and 16 years old in Arcadia.
According to Arcadia Police, on September 10, Lt. Carrillo received information from a school resource officer in regard to sexual acts between a student and an adult male.
During the investigation, several interviews were conducted and two suspects were identified.
James Costas Hoffer, 38, and Eugene Hoffer III, 40, were arrested. During a follow-up interview, both suspects admitted to the sexual acts, police say.
James Hoffer faces two counts Lewd and Lascivious Battery (victim 12-16 years of age).
Eugene Hoffer faces a charge of Principle Lewd and Lascivious Battery (victim 12-16 years of age).
