An SUV was found parked on top of a dumpster in Fort Myers.
What’s one man’s trash is another man’s treasure.
"I had to do a double take. I texted my buddy. I'm like, is that fair game? Is that free? It's in the dumpster," said Scott Greenberg, who drove past the sight.
The SUV was perfectly balanced on top of a dumpster at a construction site for a new apartment complex off East Point Drive.
Construction workers said the car was parked in the way on the job site, so one of the workers decided to move it, lifting it out of the way with a forklift.
“Sometimes when you park where you’re not supposed to, this is what happens," said a worker.
Later that afternoon, the car was moved. Found parked neatly in a parking spot like nothing ever happened, with no visible damage.
Construction workers said the car belonged to a contractor who loans it to workers flying in for jobs so they don't have to rent a vehicle.
