Drivers in Collier County should prepare for overnight closures on CR-951 (Collier Boulevard) this weekend as part of the ongoing I-75 improvement project.
The Florida Department of Transportation said Collier Boulevard will be fully closed to through traffic from 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 22, until 5:30 a.m. on Monday, September 23, to allow for the removal of an overhead sign.
In addition, southbound lanes of Collier Boulevard will be closed overnight on Monday, September 23, with detours in place until 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 24. Law enforcement officers will be on-site to assist with traffic management during the closures.
Detours
- Northbound Traffic: Drivers will be directed to turn left onto Business Circle South, then right on Market Street, right onto Davis Boulevard, and left to continue northbound on Collier Boulevard.
- Southbound Traffic: Drivers will turn right onto Davis Boulevard, left onto Market Street, left onto Business Circle South, and right to continue southbound on Collier Boulevard.
Motorists are encouraged to plan for delays and seek alternate routes.
