The National Weather Service is investigating whether straight-line winds or a small tornado caused damage in North Fort Myers Thursday morning.
The reported damage is at the Lee County Posse Arena on Palm Creek Road off Bayshore Road as bands of storms from Hurricane Helene moved through the area.
Several bleachers at the arena are crumpled, and another section is damaged. Additional structures in the area also show signs of damage.
The National Weather Service is investigating the damage and weather data to determine whether it was caused by straight-line winds or a tornado.
