The Peace River Wildlife Center was hit hard by Hurricane Helene Thursday night and will remain closed until further notice.
Photos on the PRWC Facebook show the damage from strong winds and storm surge.
Water flooded the wildlife center, and wreaked havoc inside.
PRWC is asking people to not bring animals for their care. They will let the public know when they reopen.
The wildlife center says they are still in the process of caring for the animals.
PRWC says the best way to help is by donating money.
