Gov. Ron DeSantis issued an update on Hurricane Helene response and recovery efforts in Florida Saturday morning.
According to a release, approximately 457,858 Floridians are without power.
The release states the Florida National Guard and Florida State Guard are being used in rescue and recovery efforts.
The Florida Department of Transportation is working to assess damage and impacts, inspect bridges and perform repairs.
All airports have reopened.
