A new arrest warrant was issued for a 20-year-old who is wanted in Lee County.
According to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers, Tyrese Thornton violated his probation on gun-related charges.
Officers say Thornton was involved in a drug deal that went wrong in a store parking lot.
Thornton shot a man in the stomach.
Crime Stoppers says he later pleaded guilty to the charge and was placed on 36 months of probation, which he later violated.
Thornton was first arrested at 13 years old for carrying a concealed weapon.
Since then, he’s been arrested nine other times for robbery, drugs, grand theft auto, battery, resisting, and making death threats.
Thornton is 5’9”, 145 pounds, and was last known to be living in the Dunbar community.
