Sen. Rick Scott visited Fort Myers Beach on Sunday to survey damage from Hurricane Helene.
He also received a briefing from Lee County Sheriff Carmine Marceno and Fort Myers Beach Mayor Dan Allers about response and recovery efforts.
Scott did a walk-through of Fort Myers Beach and explained how the Federal Emergency Management Agency will assist in rebuilding Florida.
