As of Monday, the minimum wage in Florida has increased to $13 an hour.
According to the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association , Florida voters approved Amendment 2 to increase the state’s minimum wage to $15 an hour by the year 2026.
The required cash wage for tipped employees has also increased to $9.98.
