Sen. Rick Scott is set to visit Charlotte County on Tuesday to survey damage from Hurricane Helene.
He will also receive a briefing from local and emergency management officials.
Those involved include:
- Congressman Greg Steube
- Charlotte County Sheriff Bill Prummell
- Chief Pam Smith, City of Punta Gorda Police Department
- Patrick Fuller, Charlotte County Emergency Management Director
- Lieutenant Justin Davoult, City of Punta Gorda Police Department
- Mayor Lynne Matthews, City of Punta Gorda
The press conference will be happening at 226 Taylor Street at 1:45 p.m.
