Sen. Rick Scott is visiting Punta Gorda in Charlotte County on Tuesday to survey damage from Hurricane Helene at 1:45 p.m.
He is also receiving a briefing from local and emergency management officials.
Those involved include:

- Charlotte County Sheriff Bill Prummell
- Chief Pam Smith, City of Punta Gorda Police Department
- Patrick Fuller, Charlotte County Emergency Management Director
- Lieutenant Justin Davoult, City of Punta Gorda Police Department
- Mayor Lynne Matthews, City of Punta Gorda
