If you drive through Cape Coral ever, you know two resources the city is not lacking are self-storage units and car washes.
You see them nearly everywhere you go, but how many is too many?
On Wednesday, city council is holding their first public hearing on the future land development of car was and self-storage unit facilities.
This comes after the city approved a moratorium to building them back in April, but that expires in January.
City staff will be going over specific regulations that will limit building. Some of those requirements including where they can be built and how they look.
Self-storage units would have similar regulations.
