Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is searching for a man accused of stealing $1,ooo worth of product from a Fort Myers smoke shop, which doubles as LaRiche's Barber Studio.
The Fort Myers Police Department is asking for the public's help identifying the suspect in the video above.
Derek LaRiche owns the shop and said the thief smashed the stores bottom front window with a hammer, crawled through and went right for the cash register, taking out $900, before grabbing a few other items.
"A little violated, I mean helpless at that point, damage is already done," said LaRiche.
On Saturday, Sept. 21, around 1 a.m., the unknown male broke into a smoke shop on Palm Beach Boulevard in Fort Myers before removing over $1,000 in products.
LaRiche said he doesn't think the guy in the security video acted alone.
"It was like 2 or 3 people, because there was one that was in broke in another one was outside watching and on the cameras that we caught in here on the ring. Then there was a female as well on it, and that one the camera didn't catch because she was hugging the wall," said LaRiche.
