The city of Cape Coral is reminding its residents of available help from FEMA post Hurricane Helene.
The application for disaster relief is open to all those who live in Southwest Florida and have damage to their homes from Hurricane Helene and need help repairing.
No insurance? No problem, FEMA wants to help!
All you need to do is complete a few steps to apply and find out if you are eligible for assistance.
You will have to make sure you have some important information ready as you apply such as your home address, social security number and a phone number where you can be easily reached.
You must also name everyone that currently lives with you and include your bank information if you'd like to receive your funds directly.
Last but not least, you have to have a detailed list of everything in your home that was damaged.
You are encouraged to do your application as soon as possible.
