The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a suspect in a road rage incident around 5 a.m. Thursday morning along Mcgregor Boulevard.
A caller told deputies a man started driving really close behind him, flipping him off and yelling, but he doesn't know why. He says the suspect pulled up next to him, pulled out a gun and pointed it at him.
LCSO said as one of their deputies went up to the suspect's car, he got out and ran off.
Deputies say they searched his silver Ford Edge and found a gun with five rounds of ammo in it, plus a box with 50 more rounds.
After searching the area with K-9s and collecting DNA evidence, they still haven't found him.
