Lee County deputies arrested a man and woman accused of stealing a surveillance camera from a building in North Fort Myers.
On Tuesday, deputies responded to Willis Road in North Fort Myers for reports of a stolen surveillance camera.
The victim reported video captured a man in front of the building before the feed cut off. The victim said the cameras were recently installed for security while the building was being renovated.
During the investigation, detectives identified Brandon William Laplant, 36, and Heather Sanders, 38, as the suspects in the video.
Detectives met with Laplant at a home on Daniels Drive, and learned Sanders was also involved in the incident.
During a search warrant, detectives say they found the stolen surveillance camera.
Laplant and Sanders were arrested and are facing burglary charges.
