Counties across Southwest Florida are issuing evacuation orders as they brace for Hurricane Milton.

Charlotte County

Charlotte County Emergency Management has issued evacuation orders for residents in Red Zone-A and Orange Zone-B.
- Find your Charlotte County Evacuation Zone here.
Lee County
- Mandatory evacuations are ordered for Zones A and B.
- Find your Lee County Evacuation Zone here.
- Go to the Lee County Government page for information about evacuation orders and shelter openings, as well as LeeTran service to those shelters.
- Residents who live in coastal areas or flood-prone inland areas do not need to wait for evacuation orders to mobilize. Go to friends' or family members' homes or make arrangements to relocate inland.
Fort Myers Beach
- The Town of Fort Myers Beach has issued a mandatory evacuation for the entire Island.
- For the safety of you and your family, the Town urges residents to evacuate safely by 3 p.m. on Monday, October 7, 2024.
- All trailers/recreation vehicles, dumpsters, porta-potties, and electric vehicles, such as golf carts, are required to be taken off the Island.
- The Town of Fort Myers Beach will be implementing the Hurricane Re-entry Pass Program following the storm. Only residents, Town staff, and emergency personnel will be allowed on the Island once Hurricane Milton has passed. You will be required to show either your re-entry pass or parking sticker to enter the island.
- Public transit: LeeTran at noon today, Monday, Oct. 7, will stop running routes onto Fort Myers Beach. All LeeTran services will convert to off-island transit only.
Sanibel
- Sanibel issued an emegency evacuation by 10 p.m. Tuesday
Collier County
- Collier County has also issued mandatory evacuations for Zones A and B .
- Residents are advised to evacuate by 6 a.m. Tuesday.
- A Mandatory Evacuation has been issued for Marco Island and Goodland.
