Florida troopers are on the scene of a deadly crash on I-75 in Bonita Springs early Tuesday morning.
Troopers responded to the scene between Bonita Beach Road and Corkscrew Road around 1 a.m.
Troopers say a 33-year-old male from Fort Myers was driving south on I-75, on the outside lane, north of Bonita Beach Road.
A 45-year-old woman from Cape Coral and a 47-year-old male from North Port were stopped on the outside shoulder of southbound I-75, according to reports.
Troopers say the Fort Myers man lost control of the car, traveled off the roadway and hit the trailer of the car parked on the shoulder.
The man was pronounced dead on the scene. The identity of the victim has not been shared at this point.
Several lanes southbound are blocked as of 5:30 a.m.
FHP says this is an ongoing investigation.
