Florida Governor Ron DeSantis held a news conference Tuesday morning as Hurricane Milton is set to hit Florida this week as a major hurricane.
DeSantis said 8,000 national guard and 34 search and rescue aircrafts are set to be deployed ahead of Hurricane Milton.

The press conference started at 7:45 a.m. at the State Emergency Operations Center.
