NFL superstar Tom Brady announced Thursday that he will donate $100,000 to Hurricane Milton relief, a donation that was quickly matched by one of his corporate sponsors.
"Stay safe, and stay strong, Florida," Brady wrote on his X account Thursday, adding "Keep those impacted by these storms in your prayers, look out for your neighbors, and continue to help out any way you’re able.”

Brady's donation was matched by food and alcohol delivery service GoPuff, which partnered with Brady earlier this year.
Brady's donation echoes that of several other public figures, including Taylor Swift , who recently announced a $5 million donation toward recovery efforts for hurricanes Helene and Milton.
Hurricane Milton made landfall Wednesday evening as a Category 3 storm near Siesta Key, a barrier island of white sand beaches about 70 miles south of the Tampa Bay area, sparing a direct hit on the area that’s home to over 3.3 million people.
By Thursday morning, Milton — weakened to a Category 1 storm, but still dangerous — had moved off Florida’s east coast.
