One person was arrested after leading Collier County deputies on a pursuit in Golden Gate Estates Thursday morning.
CCSO says they received reports of a stolen vehicle just before 10 a.m.
Deputies say they saw the car at the Wilson Boulevard N and Golden Gate Boulevard E intersection, where they attempted a traffic stop.
According to reports, the driver did not stop for deputies and sped away. Deputies pursued the driver who was able to avoid stop sticks.
After an extensive pursuit, the car chase came to an end at a shopping plaza along Goodland Bay Drive.
Deputies say the suspect was Christian Victoria, 25, and he hid out in the shopping plaza.
Deputies say they found Victoria on Dream Catcher Circle in the Amberton Community a couple of blocks away.
Victoria was arrested and taken to Collier County Jail. He is facing many charges for the chase.
