A teen was hit by a vehicle running a school bus stop sign in Collier County Thursday morning.
According to the Collier County Sheriff's Office, the teen suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
CCSO said the school bus had its stop signs deployed and blinking lights on when the vehicle struck the 11th-grade girl.
Deputies are reminding drivers that they must stop when school buses are picking up and dropping off students.
They say regular enforcement operations are conducted to cite drivers who fail to obey the law regarding stopped school buses, and they will continue to do so.
