Detectives are searching for a Fort Myers man accused of violating probation following an arrest for fleeing and eluding officers.
Reports say Oscar Thompson, 24, is currently facing charges stemming from a reckless incident where he drove a dirt bike through the route of the Dunbar Easter Parade and onto the sidewalks.
SWFL Crime Stoppers says Thompson nearly hit multiple bystanders before attempting to run from police.
Thompson was arrested and found guilty before being placed on probation, which reports say he violated last week.
According to reports, Thompson has four previous arrests, including an incident where he taped a dog's snout shut.
That dog, now known as Deputy Chance, was reportedly abandoned by Thompson before being found by a good Samaritan.
A jury found Thompson guilty of animal cruelty, and Chance is now with a family in a loving home.
Thompson is 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighs 170 pounds, and was last known to be living in the central Fort Myers area.
