After their matchup was postponed during week eight of the high school football season, new district foes Port Charlotte and Dunbar squared off one week later. Both teams have shown to be powerhouses in Southwest Florida, but are facing each other for the first time in a regular season game.
Port Charlotte laid down the hammer and got out to a 39-0 lead before allowing Dunbar to score in the fourth quarter. The Pirates move to 5-2, while the Tigers drop their second game of the year.
FINAL - Port Charlotte 39, Dunbar 7.
