A candlelight vigil was held Saturday evening at the Harlem Gym to mourn the loss of Ja'yhanna Johnson, the 16-year-old who was shot and killed at a party.
During the vigil, family and friends spent the night praying and singing songs. Her cheerleading teammates from Clewiston High School performed her favorite cheer routine.
The vigil ended with everyone putting their candles and phone lights in the air as the community tries to move forward from this tragedy.
Ja'yhanna's family didn't want to go on camera and wanted to grieve in peace. The family says Ja'yhanna's funeral will be held next Saturday in Clewiston.
