The Florida Department of Transportation Southwest Florida says lanes will be affected on Colonial Boulevard at Forum Blvd due to roadwork.
Crews have begun installing the final configuration of the redirected crossing U-turn at Colonial and Forum Blvd.
Colonial Blvd eastbound has been reduced to one turn lane.
Motorists traveling north on Colonial Court can only turn left or right onto Colonial Blvd and cannot continue straight across Colonial Blvd onto Forum Blvd.
To access Forum Blvd from Colonial Ct, drivers must turn right onto Colonial Blvd and make a U-turn at Colonial Country Club Blvd.
The final configuration is anticipated to be open in February 2025.
