Gov. Ron DeSantis is touring the state telling people why he's against Amendments 3 and 4 as people vote early and by mail. On Thursday, DeSantis visited Fort Myers and Cape Coral drawing large crowds in both cities.
"What I don't want to see is the constitution be amended, and then a year later people are like well I didn't know that well I didn't know that was going to happen, this is the warning about what will happen. This is the warning on how this got on your ballot," DeSantis said.

Amendment 3 would legalize recreational marijuana for people 21 and up, DeSantis said it would only benefit the corporation that helped fund the amendment. Supporters say it will bring in millions of dollars in revenue and let people use small amounts of pot like they can in other states.

Amendment 4 asks people if there should be no law to prohibit, punish, delay or restrict abortions. DeSantis doesn't want voters to change the constitution, overriding the state's abortion law. NBC2 spoke to voters about it.
"It's about health and it's about truth, you have these out-of-state groups that are coming into the state of Florida and putting forth the most egregiously misleading language and deliberately doing so," said Vanessa Oliver.
The Democratic Party of Lee County thinks voters will say yes to Amendment 4.
"Even if they are republicans that don't support the current situation, and they may or may not vote for other Democratic candidates on the ballot, but they're going to vote for this amendment," said Jim Rosinus from Democratic Party of Lee County.
"I hope this election, we find that decision that helps enshrine and protect our basic freedoms," said Steve Funnell.
