Only one mile of Livingston Road separates First Baptist Academy from the Community School of Naples. The two private school rivals meet each year on the gridiron to battle it out. The Lions have dominated the matchup, winning the last ten straight. However, with a chance to win the district on Friday, CSN was hungry to snap the losing streak.
Despite the extra motivation, CSN came out of the gates flat. FBA ran up the score and held a 33-7 lead at halftime. The Seahawks put together a couple solid drives in the second half to narrow the margin. However, the Lions were just too much, led by freshman quarterback Brady Quinn.
FBA continued its winning streak against its rival and grabbed a 47-21 win.
