Cape Coral police say one person is dead after a car struck a home along NE 6th Place on Sunday.
The car struck a home on NE 6th Place between Pine Island Road, Cultural Park Boulevard and Hancock Bridge Parkway.
The car was seen crashed into the lanai of the home. First responders were dispatched to the scene around 6 p.m. on Sunday.
The Cape Coral Police Department says one person was taken to the hospital where they later died. The identity of the victim has not been shared at this time.
