Collier County Public School teachers will receive a salary increase on Nov. 1, 2024.
According to the Collier County School District, the salary increases had an effective date of July 1, 2024.
CCPS says eligible instructional employees will receive salary increases and retroactive pay on the November 1, 2024, paycheck.
The release states the new starting salary for CCPS teachers is $57,000, and compensation for many new teachers will surpass that amount due to supplements and validated experience credit of up to 18 years.
CCPS says the teacher base pay of $57,000 is the second highest ranked out of Florida’s 67 school districts.
The average CCPS teacher salary is now $74,271.
More than 90% of CCPS full-time teachers earn more than $60,000 a year.
