After a months-long operation, the Lee County Sheriff's Office announced a plethora of arrests and narcotic seizures from "Operation: Trick or Tweak".
The operation targeted high-end suppliers in the area.
According to LCSO, many of the 54 people who were arrested during the operation had extensive criminal records. LCSO said some charges from their history include narcotics, fleeing and eluding, battery of a law enforcement officer and sexual battery on a victim under 12.
LCSO said there are 37 trafficking charges from the 54 people who were arrested during the operation.
One last search warrant in North Fort Myers that was served Wednesday marked the operation's completion. In total, LCSO seized the following:
- 4 cars
- 2 ATVs
- A jet ski
- 4.5 kilos of cocaine
- Over 67 pounds of marijuana and plants
- Narcotics packaged for sale such as methamphetamine, MDMA and over 220 grams of various types of pills
- 22 firearms
- $58,000 in drug profits
