The Charlotte County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a possible shooting threat was made against Babcock Ranch Neighborhood High School Friday.
According to the sheriff's office, all people involved were interviewed and an investigation determined there was no credible threat.
CCSO says the allegations were just rumors and speculation. Deputies say there is no evidence a crime was committed.
The sheriff's office says threats at Charlotte County Schools are taken seriously and will be investigated until they are confident there is no threat to their children's safety.
