The Florida Department of Transportation says the Estero Parkway overpass above I-75 is closing due to maintenance.
The overpass will close at noon Friday, Nov. 1 until 5 a.m. Tuesday, weather permitting.
A good alternate route will be Corkscrew Road. NBC2 crews note there are a lot of detour signs in the area that help people know where to go.
FDOT crews say they will be working on the bridge structure to enhance safety and extend service life.
