Southwest Florida International Airport will offer passengers RSWRemots, a reserved parking option, this Thanksgiving.
According to Lee County Port Authority, the reserved lot will be located on the north side of the airport.
The RSWRemote parking lot will be accepting cars to enter from Saturday, Nov. 23, at 3 a.m. through Thursday, Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 28, at noon.
Cars may exit the lot from Thanksgiving Day through the last flight arrival on Wednesday, Dec. 4.
Parking will be a flat $60 fee, no matter how many days you choose to park, according to the release.
This type of parking is non-refundable and cannot be used at another on-airport parking location.
The RSWRemote parking lot is located off Chamberlin Parkway, on the north side of the airport property. Please enter Chamberlin Parkway from Daniels Parkway, Skyplex Boulevard or Paul J. Doherty Parkway and follow the signs.
The release says you must reserve and prepay for a parking space before coming to the airport.

After booking, you will receive a QR code.
When you arrive at the lost, show the attendant your QR code and park your car.
Use the complimentary shuttle bus to get to the upper level (departures) terminal curb prior to Door #1.
When you return, you will need to take a return shuttle.
The TSA recommends arriving at the airport at least two hours before your domestic flight and three hours before an international flight.
Port Authority recommends adding 30 more minutes to your travel time when using RSWRemote.
Shuttles will be operating from the remote lot to the terminal from 3 a.m. until 7 p.m., and will take parkers from the terminal to the remote lot from 8 a.m. until the last daily flight arrival.
Lee County Port Authority expects a very busy Christmas and encourages travelers to consider being dropped off by friends and family, or using commercial transportation.
