A driver has been arrested for reportedly pointing a firearm during a road rage incident in Collier County on Monday.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the incident happened around 2:34 p.m. on Golden Gate Parkway and I-75.
The victim(s) told troopers someone in a Blue Ford Edge pointed a firearm at them while going northbound on I-75.
FHP troopers then responded to the location and conducted a traffic stop on a Blue Ford Edge near mile marker 123. The suspect was identified as Giacomo Bozzo.
According to the FHP report, a firearm was found in Bozzo's vehicle, a Beretta .380.
Also, a photo, captured by the victims, showed Bozzo in the vehicle wearing the same shirt he was wearing at the traffic stop that he was wearing during the incident.
Bozzo was arrested around 3:03 p.m., according to FHP. He was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and improper display of a firearm.
He was taken to Collier County Jail. FHP said no injuries were reported during this incident.
