The City of Fort Myers is starting its final day of debris collection from the mess left behind by Hurricane Milton.
That means if you have any debris you want to get rid of, Monday is the day to get it out and organized.
The city is asking you to separate your piles from horticulture, construction debris and bulk items before placing them on the curb.
If it is combined, the city said it will not be picked up.
Any horticulture with green clippings will also not be picked up, it will be left behind until your regular collection time.
This is all to ensure a smooth pick up for everyone.
Starting next Monday, Nov. 11, the city will start regular trash collection schedules which will include horticulture and bulk items.
