Drop off your ballot
If you still have your mail-in ballot, you can drop it off in person at your county’s Supervisor of Elections office before 7 p.m. on election day.
This is the fastest and most reliable way to make sure your vote is received on time. Find contact information for your local Supervisor of Elections office below.
Do Not Mail Your Ballot
Mailing your ballot is not recommended the day before the election. Ballots must be received—not postmarked—by 7 p.m. Nov. 5, to be counted. Mailing now may result in it arriving too late to be counted.

Vote in Person
If you prefer to vote in person or are unable to drop off your mail-in ballot, you can still go to your assigned polling place and vote.
When you arrive, inform the poll workers that you want to vote in person. They will cancel your mail-in ballot, and you will be allowed to cast your vote in person.
Lost or Damaged Ballot
If your mail-in ballot is lost, damaged, or you never received it, you can still vote in person at your polling place. Let the poll workers know your situation, and they will guide you through the process to ensure you can cast your vote.
