Incumbent Rep. Byron Donalds has secured a third term in the U.S. House of Representatives after defeating Democratic challenger Kari Lerner.
The race was for Florida's 19th congressional district, which covers parts of Lee and Collier counties.
Donalds was the clear favorite in a district that leans heavily conservative.
In 2020, he earned more than 60 percent of the vote and more than two-thirds of the vote in 2022.
Donalds posted the following message to his official X account following his victory.
