The Collier County Sheriff's Office said all lanes of SR-29 are closed at Experimental Road after a deadly two-vehicle crash.
Deputies responded to the scene just north of Immokalee around 7 a.m.
The Florida Highway Patrol said one person is dead. The identity of the victim has not been shared at this time.
CCSO asks that motorists seeks an alternate route and use caution if you are in the area.
