Security cameras caught the moments a car crashed into parked cars off Sanibel Boulevard in San Carlos Park, around 2 a.m. Sunday.
Neighbors said it was a crash loud enough to wake up the neighborhood.
“We heard the ambulance and saw red lights and that going on and I heard a couple of bumps, which evidently was the car that hit the neighbor's two cars,” said neighbor David Fredericks.
What’s concerning to neighbors is how many kids play along the street.
“You just think like, what if my kids are outside? I mean, it's like, if they're outside or something, somebody else walking, they can get hit or another accident. I mean, crazy,” said neighbor Rodrigo Ortiz.
Neighbors said they'd like to see more patrols in the area to avoid crashes.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office said no one was arrested in this crash, but the driver was cited accordingly.
