The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission took a manatee calf to SeaWorld for care after finding it in shallow water in the Caloosahatchee River.
FWC said they rescued the small, lone manatee in shallow water earlier this week.
A rescue team responded, and the 4-foot and 9-inch male manatee was transported to the SeaWorld Manatee Rehabilitation Center for treatment.
FWC captured a photo of the 150-cm calf in a kiddie pool as it waits to be taken to SeaWorld for rehabilitation.
